Investors Lab is a virtual investment platform that allows users to practice investing with simulated money and real market data. All investments made on the Platform use virtual currency only and have no real monetary value.

  • Virtual currency cannot be withdrawn or converted to real money

3. User Accounts

To use the Platform, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Keep your password secure and confidential

  • Not create multiple accounts

All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, software, and data, is owned by or licensed to Investors Lab and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not:

  • Reverse engineer or decompile our software
  • Remove copyright or proprietary notices
  • Use our trademarks without written consent

7. Data and Market Information

Market data provided on the Platform is sourced from third-party providers and is provided "as is" for educational purposes. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of market data.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INVESTOR LAB SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall not exceed $100 or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, whichever is less.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including if you violate these Terms. Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Platform ceases immediately
  • We may delete your account and data
  • Sections of these Terms that should survive termination will remain in effect

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Platform. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except where prohibited by law.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
